Julia Teeluck

Julia is a first-generation Canadian writer based in Toronto. She writes poetry, short fiction, and creative-non fiction on womanhood, friendship, love, grief, and loss.

Her work has appeared in Vallum and Feels zine, and her short story “42” received first prize in Canvas magazine’s writing contest (Ryerson University, 2014). Her personal essay “Homecoming” was featured in the anthology Writing in the Time of Covid (Life Rattle Press, 2021). She is a former reader at PRISM International.

Julia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and an Honours BA in Professional Writing from York University. She is working on her debut novel. Read more.
